Welcome at Adam's RaspberryPiPage
running on cloudberrypi, a 'quad-core 700 MHz ARM v7 / 1 GB RAM' Raspberry Pi under Raspbian "wheezy"

Welcome to 'cloudberrypi', the Raspberry Pi, that just sent you this page.
My 'mainsberrypi' is being used as a controller for a lot of my 'power-switchable' devices, like scanner, printer, harddisks etc.
I switch those by means of a number of (USB- and/or LAN-) connected Gembird/Energenie SiS-PMs and other kinds of switches like Ikea Tradfri and those from Action! and Elro.
A 5 dollar 434 MHz transmitter, connected to that RPi, switches my lamps (at sunset time), iPhone-/iPad-/MacBook chargers etc.
This is done by sending 'handheld-remote-control'-codes over Radio and/or X10 (see also: the website of one of my friends) to various cheap wall-outlet dimmers and switches.
'mainsberrypi' calculates sun up-/down-times and switches my lamps accordingly.
Don't forget to also check the LinuxMCE site. LinuxMCE has nice capabilities for home automation, which, amoung others, also supports Airplay from iOS-devices.
'craftberrypi', a Pi 3, is running MineCraft Server for Gilbert-Jan, my son.
'mailberrypi', a Pi 4, is my mailserver Pi, supporting SMTP-, POP3- and IMAP-protocols.
'nasberrypi', a Pi 4, is my NAS and family-wide backup-server, supporting NFS, rsyncd and rsync-over-ssh.
I have set up an email-list for a few of my friends/colleagues, just to share some news and stuff about the Pi.
If you like to be added to that list then please send me an email (go to my HomePage to find my email-address).
